CITB Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS)

The Site Managers’ Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) course is perfect for site managers and agents. It’s ideal for anyone currently responsible for planning, organising, controlling, monitoring and administering groups of workers on construction sites. If you’re preparing to move into such a role, the course also acts as a great starting point. This 5 day site management course covers the core health and safety issues involved in construction. It aims to provide candidates with a comprehensive understanding.

This course highlights potential hazards when working on site and provides practical advice on keeping yourself and your colleagues safe. It covers your individual and employer’s responsibilities, including what you can do if you think anyone’s health and safety is being put at risk. This course provides health and safety awareness and is endorsed by Build UK as standard training for all operatives on site.

The CITB SEATS Course has been designed to meet the basic environmental knowledge that the sub-contract chain are required to prove to major contractors, The course will bring the candidates environmental training and sustainability knowledge up to date by giving a thorough overview of the subject, relevant legislation, and industry best practice. It will enable them to identify, control and minimise the environmental impacts of their work and where possible identify environmental improvement opportunities

National Water Hygiene (NWH) scheme which is also known as a ‘Blue Card’ plays a vital part in ensuring the protection of public health and promoting good water hygiene practices. UK water companies require individuals entering clean water sites or working on the clean water network (known as ‘Restricted Operations’), to hold a National Water Hygiene EUSR registration.

SHEA Water is a one day Health, Safety and Environmental Awareness scheme for those working on water operational sites. It is developed in collaboration with employers and key stakeholders from across the industries in our sector, so the content is relevant – all helping to improve the safety of the workforce and reduce costs associated with injury, illness or accidents.

This course provides an understanding of the legal requirements, including documentation awareness, appropriate control measures and the importance of following controls and health surveillance.
