The CITB SEATS Course has been designed to meet the basic environmental knowledge that the sub-contract chain are required to prove to major contractors, The course will bring the candidates environmental training and sustainability knowledge up to date by giving a thorough overview of the subject, relevant legislation, and industry best practice. It will enable them to identify, control and minimise the environmental impacts of their work and where possible identify environmental improvement opportunities

The half-day course has been developed to provide awareness of the risks associated with employees who may come into contact with substances that are harmful to their health, this can be a mild irritant to a severe or potentially life changing illness. This course provides an understanding of the legal requirements, including documentation awareness, appropriate control measures and the importance of following controls and health surveillance.

The course aims to provide individuals with a knowledge and understanding to conduct detailed and task specific risk assessments within their field of expertise.
